Heat Pump Laboratory was founded by experienced specialists in the field of heating and cooling techniques using heat pumps.

The main goal of the Laboratory is to intensify the work already started on the creation of new generation heating and cooling devices. We are talking about thermo-acoustic technology that breaks with the existing system of heat and cold production. In a traditional heat pump, the creation of a temperature difference is achieved by compressing and expanding the working medium using a mechanical compressor. It cannot be ignored that the currently used working fluids are very harmful to the environment and are dangerous. In thermo-acoustic technology, the role of the compressor is taken over by an electro-acoustic transducer that generates a sound wave in the resonance tube. This wave causes areas of cold and heat to appear in specific places.

Thanks to cooperation with the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow and the Białystok University of Technology, our Laboratory will soon present a highly effective heat pump solution based on thermo-acoustic phenomena. Such devices will be completely neutral to the environment but also safe for service technicians and end users of the devices.

It will be a product addressed mainly to manufacturers and designers of HVAC equipment, which will replace the traditional thermodynamic system consisting of an evaporator, condenser, expansion valve and compressor and will introduce their devices to a new era of technology.
